Summary
Life played its horrible games with the girl. As she grew up she devised clever places to hide - inside and outside of her mind. She was tricked by her own illusions; she was caught in traps of her own creation. It began with a kidnapping, a locked room, and the broken doll that was more than a plaything…and always, in the shadows, the dangerous painting from her past waited, threatening to expose her.

Short horror story
This is a short horror story that I listened in one sitting. I wish it was longer but enjoy it anyway.

My review
This is a great short read and listen for anyone who loves horror or dark fiction.
We meet a young girl who has been betrayed by the who person she always thought was there to protect her. However, she ends up losing her soul and her mind in end.
The poor child! But I loved the book, for short listen it certainly grabs your attention and doesn’t let go.

My Cousin Jimmy.
Even though this is such a short story. It's dark and packs a punch to the listener. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl in this story. Can't wait to hear or read more by this author. This story will certainly leave you thinking.

Creepy as hell!
Dark and confusing (in a good way!). Crawl space is still my favourite of Dona’s, but if you like scary short stories, then definitely give his a go.
Barbara does really well with the narration too and really adds to the scary intenseness of the situation!
This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.
