This is a good book and very interesting that goes over a few years with a good storyline

A lovely story following Cora growing up. I enjoyed it except I found the narrator annoying because she rushed from one part to the next without a pause, for at the end of a chapter. Sometimes she read a word wrong , for example when a character was eligible to be called up she said illegible instead.
However I still recommend this book and author.
