A poor imitation

I am a big Holmes fan. therefore I set a high standard for supposedly Sherlock Holmes stories.

If your looking for a Holmes story then this is not going to satisfy. It is a story that is living off the name of the character.
However dismiss the Holmes character and view this merely as a tale of mystery, and the story is quite absorbing.
Narration is excellent.
