Summary

Don't miss the gripping conclusion to Salvatore's New York Times best-selling Transitions trilogy!

When the Spellplague ravages Faerûn, Drizzt and his companions are caught in the chaos. Seeking out the help of the priest Cadderly—the hero of the recently reissued series The Cleric Quintet—Drizzt finds himself facing his most powerful and elusive foe, the twisted Crenshinibon, the demonic crystal shard he believed had been destroyed years ago.

good story

great story love r a salvatore. not to sure about the narrator, I prefer victor bavine.
although you do get used to the change of narrator, I hate the accent he uses for the Dwarves, and they all sound the same, why do people insist on doing a bad Scottish accent for a Dwarf

Superb

What an ending, I believe R. A. Salvatore writes aswell as Drizzt cuts down foes with his scimitar.

It's an interesting twist and tale but....

It's Luskan not Looskan. It's Pikle not Pykel.

I can forget all the character's accents changing from the 20 odd books before and many after narrated by Victor Bevine as each reader can only do it in their own voice but at least say the names right!
The odd mispronounced word is fine and expected in a fantasy novel but as the 2nd book is set in and around Luskan and this 3rd one has Pikle as a central character their constant mispronounced names grind in my ears every time Mark Bramhall chews on them.

Otherwise a good listen if a little of a disjointed story of a pivotal time in Forgotten Realms.

Its Pickle, not Pie-cull...

I have never read these books in print so maybe Victor has skewed my expectations but Mark makes some strange pronunciation choice. Also Pickle should be a cheery bubbly character, not this gruff dwarf, as Mark portrays.
The story is great and worth a listen but don't expect the energy and joviality of Victor

Ruined by Bramhall again

Yet again a great story by Salvatore but awful mispronunciations by Bramhall again! Why he didn't spend any time doing a bit of research into the previous books is beyond me.
