About this listen

For Olgerd, the month in recovery which followed his month-long full immersion stint in Mirror World may have felt like a single day. But while he relaxed in the bosom of his loving family, in-game events progressed in leaps and bounds.

The clans of both Light and Dark continue their lightning expansion into No-Man's Lands. Reports of violent clashes between clan scouts—both with other contestants and local top-level monsters—fill the pages of game and multimedia news feeds as everyone is trying to win the juiciest morsels of these new territories for themselves.

Olgerd knows that the Dark players still have a grudge against him—and that their rickety truce with the players of Light might be broken at any moment. Then the valleys of the Silver Mountains will fall prey to new invaders.

Olgerd needs to help the Calteans mount defenses for their new settlement. Which means it's time for him to get back into the game.

And you were doing so well I waited a long time for this book coming out and unfortunately book coming out unfortunately you have decided to change the narrator which is a very bad idea in the middle of a series I will try and bear with it to see if it gets better

Left Unsatisfied

Really enjoyed this series but the fact that the story progressed so little in this one and its the only one i paid for is kinda annoying, worth it just to support the writer of them all because i enjoyed the others and it is 50hrs total so sure, but there needs to be more and im not paying for another 10hr only instalment… i mainly listen to audiobooks in the 25-50hr range so felt this was fair mainly since the first 4 were free lol

To be continued??

I really enjoyed the previous 4 books and listened to them back to back, but did feel disappointed that a different narrator was brought in and it took a while to get used to him. The story itself seemed to lack the humph compared to previous books and it felt slightly rushed. Lets hope there will be a continuation or I'll feel like I've wasted my time as will many others.

Rushed

The first three books in the series were very enjoyable, unfortunately after that the books felt rushed, messy and incomplete. Characters were started and left out from one book to the next and finally with a change of narrator on the final book (very dull) sorry but the story should have been kept smaller to make it more engaging.
