About this listen

A three-in-one collection featuring previously released titles: Dreams of Darkness, Awake in Shadows, and Kiss of Light.

Adara has no idea who she is.

What she is.

That doesn't stop danger from stalking her.

It also does nothing to stem the nightmares.

Caught in her dreams of darkness, Adara attracts the attention of a werewolf and a vampire and wonders if she's losing her mind. They can't exist, and her mind says forget. But she wants to remember. However, if she does, will the truth shatter her?

Contains mature themes.

Confusing

Although i got into the first book quite quickly and it seemed like an intriguing mystery, in book 2 I was getting bored of all the dick swinging and also a bit disturbed by the author’s apparent obsession with abuse.
It also seemed rather confused, with unpleasant subject matter often being treated with a lightness that didn’t fit. Also, while a lot of ‘big’ words were used, the language regularly seemed childish. By the end of book 3 I was getting annoyed by it, as it turned into ‘happy ever after’ type pit pat.
The 2 strong characters in the beginning, vampire and wolf seemed completely emasculated by that point, and I think the author had started confusing wolves with dogs.
Sorry, that’s a bit negative, but I found the end painful to listen to, while wanting to find out what happened. The narration had been fine for me, but was missing the mark by then, sounding all breathy and girly while I’m sure it should have sounded more intense.
Maybe it was just a bit young for me.

Slow start but got me hooked

i felt the story was slow to get going and I found the reader's pace too slow for me, so having speeded up the delivery I found I did enjoy the tale enough to want to know what happened next. I found it a good story with a slightly predictable outcome, but, good for all that.

Could not finish the book.

I tried to finish this bookset multiple times. I tried playing it faster and skipping a chapter nog and then. Then I just realised that I just didn’t even care how it ended.
I feel so weird that I stoped listening. I’ve never done that before.
I do like Eva her other books and I’m sorry to say, I don’t like this one.

Too long winded and boring

I couldn't get to the end. It was taking hours of not getting anywhere in the story. I wouldn't recommend it, but would recommend the author on her other books.
