unexpected delight

ok, this might be on the "people's friend ' side, but a delightful insight into post war Britain, very educational and enthralling tale, that brings home memories and appreciation for today's modern life

A lovely....

storyline from start to finish with some great characters and antics within the book. The narrator was very good at using different voices for the characters.

Really good story

Felt like the characters were family, brilliant writing, going to have to search for more from this author. Great storylines, gripping with moments of sadness.
