About this listen

Allele Island is a beachcomber's paradise for a charming little primate named Eena Beena, who tends her stretch of beach - and the hapless castaways who wash up there - as if it were her own private garden. Everything changes when a deranged ape named Prospero arrives with plans to kidnap the island's queen for an evil experiment that threatens the world.©2007 Matthew Olshan (P)2007 Chacmool Press Literature & Fiction

Good story, appalling production quality

Fun, imaginative story, but unfortunately let down by a lack of production skill and professionalism I have not previously encountered at Audible.

This has simply been downloaded and collated from another well known podcast website and compacted into a single book. The introduction to the book, recap of the previous chapter and suggestion to visit the books website at the start of each and every one of the 30 odd chapters is incredibly irritating.

A pity, as I would have awarded the actual story and narration more stars.
