About this listen
Laura Ingalls Wilder is beginning life with her new husband, Almanzo, in their own little house. Laura is a young pioneer wife now and must work hard with Almanzo, farming the land around their home on the South Dakota prairie. Soon their baby daughter, Rose, is born, and the young family must face the hardships and triumphs encountered by so many American pioneers.
And so Laura Ingalls Wilder's adventure as a little pioneer girl ends, and her new life as a pioneer wife and mother begins. The nine Little House books have been cherished by generations of readers and listeners as both a unique glimpse into America's frontier past and a heartwarming, unforgettable story.

Laura
A hard book to read but a good book and so real. I wish there was more.

Should be included with These Happy Golden Years
I love the Little House books - I read them all as a child back in the 70's, so it's great to have them all on audio. This particular title is very short, and is not what I deem to be worth the cost of an entire credit. Clearly, anyone purchasing this has purchased the previous books, and I feel very strongly that it should have been as a free addition to These Happy Golden Years.
