About this listen
The first book, The Rose Diary, is a roller-coaster of suspense, and this one will take you on an even wilder ride.
In book one, we learn that Jacky's sister, Sandra, has been murdered by poison. A series of paranormal experiences lead to the arrest of someone Jacky has never really been fond of. But is that the real murderer?
This exciting second book takes you through twist after twist and keeps you guessing. A ghost story, murder mystery, and courtroom drama, this audiobook is fantastically fun.

No please let there be more
I just loved the two books that make up this great story and with the ending I hope it means there is going to be more to come, as I will definitely be keeping an eye out. I spent the whole book trying to work out who the killer was and like the main character I think I ended up suspecting everyone. This book wasn't quite so emotional for me (no tissues needed this time) but it is still very compelling and had me hooked so much so that I got cross when interrupted. It is hard to find the one thing I really liked about the story as I liked it all, the characters, the plot, the courtroom drama and even the ghostly hauntings.
With her best friends brother arrested for the murder of her sister, Jacky and her best friends are mounting there own defence for Eric. The problem is even with ghostly help being thirteen is kind of a roadblock, how do you follow a car when you can't drive? Or how do you get adults to take you seriously? There are a few advantages to being an amateur sleuth and one of those is you have no problem getting in with the mean girls of the school but the biggest advantage is the ghost who wants her murder solved. If you can only get her to communicate with you.
I liked the narrator and thought with her laid back style she added to the tension.

The second book takes you on a rollercoaster ride of guess who killed Sandra and the outcome wasn’t who I expected it to be.
The book ended as if there could be more books about Jacky and he ghost detective skills I really hope there will be more .
