About this listen
Vienna Stratton knew she only had herself to blame. You didn't let yourself become indebted to a man like Dane Davenport, no matter how badly you needed his help. As his personal assistant, she was very aware that the globally successful CEO was ruthless and unforgiving.
Of course, if she'd known he'd request that she be his wife for 12 months, she'd have hesitated in accepting his help. Because what she'd learned from Dane was that the devil wasn't ugly and terrorizing. He was seductive and captivating. He hummed with whispers of temptation - the temptation to sin and surrender, to let him brand and possess you. He awakened every need and fantasy you had.
He could even make you love him.
Contains mature themes.

Humorous, witty and intriguing
This book mentions sensitive content such as abuse, blackmail and mental health issues.
Vienna is a strong heroine who is determined and kind. She has been Dane Davenport’s PA for four years, when he asks for the favour she owes him: marry him for twelve months so he can gain his trust fund left to him by his uncle.
Where do I start with Dane? Normally I can’t stand alpha males but Dane charmed me with his personality. Successful, ruthless, intelligent, confident, but also gentle and caring. Did I mention gorgeous?
The Favor has a good storyline that flowed seamlessly and interesting characters - not to mention some hilarious lines! I loved Simon, Deacon, Maggie, Freddie and Blue. I thought the epilogue closed the story off perfectly.
Fake marriage/ marriage of convenience isn’t normally my cup of tea, however, The Favor is much more than that. I devoured and finished the book the day it was released. If you enjoy The Favor, I would also recommend Shiver by Suzanne Wright.

Really good read/listen
My second book by Suzanne Wright which I chose to listen to almost by accident - it was only when Blake & Kensey Mercier appeared near the end that I connected the dots. I enjoyed the narration too. Overall well worth a listen.

Such a heartfelt story with marvellous narration✨
I had an incredible time listening to this story. I loved learning about these characters, their struggles, their trauma, how it shaped them and their interactions and relationships with people. It felt so real. There was so much heart in this story and was wonderfully told. The narrator, Samantha Cook was absolutely fantastic! She had such a lovely voice which I think perfectly suited the main character. She was consistent throughout and I could honestly listen to her all day. Highly recommend!

Well what a great book from start to finish.
I have read plenty of this authors books but never before just a romance book and I gotta say I loved it.
There is plenty going on throughout the book to keep you gripped.
The narrator also made listening to the book enjoyable too.
