About this listen
She's dying to be famous...
Vicky and Alek disagree on a lot. But there’s one thing they both agree on. They both believe they are fundamentally misunderstood – by society, and by their loved ones.
When Vicky’s past catches up with her, and her unpleasant ex threatens to destroy her marriage, she’s faced with an impossible choice. Will she compromise her morals to protect herself and her family, or risk everything she holds dear?
The stakes are high. One wrong move, and it could all be over.
Who will win the fame game, and who will end up being collateral damage?
The latest gritty listen from prolific thriller writer NJ Moss explores the dark side of the pursuit of fame. It’s perfect for fans of LJ Ross, Lisa Jewell and Clare Mackintosh.

Brilliant dark and twisted read
This story gripped me from the start. I loved how horrifically plausible the story was. I’ve read several other books by this author and I love his unflinching writing. The characters, although unlikeable on the surface had real depth, particularly Alek, who I couldn’t help but sympathise with despite his deeds. I couldn’t stop listening as the characters lives began to spiral out of control and the story became darker and more devastating for all. Superb narration too. I’d highly recommend this original and compulsive story to lovers of dark, twisted thrillers.
