About this listen

Fellow at Ethic & Public Policy Center, scholar at The Institute for Human Ecology at CUA and the nationally best-selling author of the Theology of Home series, Carrie Gress argues that fifty years of radical feminism have had the opposite of the intended effect and have granted primacy of place to the traditionally male sphere of life, while simultaneously devaluing the typical attributes, virtues, and strengths of women.

Must read!

I knew Feminism is one of worst enemies of women disguised as a fight for equality! It’s visible everywhere we go, but especially online, the damages feminism has caused women and men. However, this book is very well written and organised in a way that makes it very easy to understand the why’s behind this toxic movement.
Almost every men and woman from the last 60 years have been victims of this ideology and i believe people are starting to wake up to its devastation consequences and this book comes at a time when the world needs it.

Sheds a lot of light

Great book, binge listened to it. Sheds a lot of light on how western society got to it's current atate, drawing from the history of feminism and socialism as well as from contemporary social commentators such as Jordan Peterson. Also points to a way through which brings hope.

Great book!

Informational book on the history of feminism. Lots of things i was not aware of. I think it’s good to bring the bad out into the light, to expose it and show that there’s something better.

Fascinating look at the historical details of feminism!

I enjoyed this book as it made so much sense to me. I have often thought about how feminism has shot me (a women) in the foot.
- I had expectations and pressures to go back to work after having a baby and hated it, it wasn't choice.
- I have to compete against men who claim to be women in althetic events, I have no chance of winning.
- I enjoy men being gentlemen towards me and not doing so offends me, as I am aware I am smaller and weaker.
- contraception has given an implicit expecting of sex during dating and actually dating someone in itself means I am not sure they are suitable to be father to my children (yet) etc etc etc
so we'll put together!

All that needed to be said!

I'm not religious, but you don't have to be to recognise the truth when you hear it. Fabulous book. Will be buying the Kindle version as I want to take notes. I've now got Anti-Mary to look forward to.
