Summary

If you are here, chances are good that you have been a victim of the "dark triad" strategies which are employed by people with seemingly "bad" or "evil" personalities or behaviors. There are those who are born with "bad" or "evil" or "anti-social" personalities. There are those who are born with pro-social and empathetic personalities. Then, there are those who use "dark triad" strategies as a means of gaining immense personal power, financial gain, and sexual prowess.

It is a fact that most women, due to evolution, are strongly drawn to the "bad" boy or the "alpha" male because he has the most resources: money, status, power, friends, a good family, good genes, strength, protective qualities, etc. It is also a fact, however, that alpha men are the first ones to want attention from multiple females, encouraging their predisposition for cheating.

These alpha males might have healthy levels of narcissism which give them a competitive edge over the beta males, or he may be employing or feigning the dark triad strategies which give him the advantage. One of these features makes him a worthy alpha male, while the other actually makes him such a bad boy that a woman risks being thrown under the bus, murdered, framed, abused, or blackmailed when she sticks it out with the alpha bad boy.

Most women will not tolerate cheating, and thus might break up the family in order to introduce a better alpha or a beta male who will be more likely to stick around. Because most women are intensely attracted to the top percentage of alpha males, they have a tendency to ignore the beta males (the "nice" guys) in favor of the mean or "evil" bad boy types. Don't blame it on the women, but blame it on the needs of evolution (the strongest genes are meant to survive to encourage future generations).

The intelligent man or street smart man knows that by covering up his weaknesses, faults, and deficits, he can project the illusion that he is mysterious, perfect, strong, charming and more. He can use superficial and glib charm to essentially "fake it till you make it".

Men (and some women) use the dark triad personality traits in order to get ahead in life, love, industry, business, college, and many other areas. The dark triad personality is prevalent in all high offices, including law enforcement, court rooms, politics, the military, and more. These institutions (along with corporations) encourage self-love and self-promotion in order to gain higher pay and status. This is part of our "civilized" society.

Unfortunately, the encouragement of dark triad strategies encourages cutthroat moves in life. People who are mostly civil, laid-back, non-competitive, pro-social, empathetic, and sympathetic will be harmed by those who are aiming for cut-throat competitiveness in order to get ahead. These people will suffer at the hands of the cutthroat competition.
