About this listen
Given the recent generous stimulus introduced by almost all governments in the world and especially in the United States, it is unclear how these stimulus packages will affect economies.
With a cold war being seemingly inevitable between China and the USA, it is likely that the dollar may lose its status as a world currency. When that happens, there will be chaos in the financial world. Bitcoin may just be able to fill that vacuum and become the world’s currency.
After all, the required protocols are already in place for the exchange of Bitcoins into local currencies at almost anywhere in the world.
Even if the above does not happen, blockchain technology is likely to be here to stay.
Blockchain development has been on the rise in recent years, with conglomerates like
Microsoft, Google, and IBM notably hiring talents and financing research into blockchain. For that reason, we can conclude that there is merit to this revolutionary technology and we should at least understand how it works in the event that it becomes commonplace in our contemporary society.
Cryptocurrencies have created a completely new asset class that has been experiencing healthy growth over the last five years. The industry has matured heavily from its early days and has shown promise in eventually becoming adopted in some way or another. With that, this book will introduce what Bitcoin is, how to invest in it and other cryptocurrencies, what to avoid, and show you why Bitcoin will play a major role in the digital age of the 21st century.
