About this listen
Little does Loy realise that this seemingly simple case will involve delving into the world of blackmail, organised crime, and the very murky secrets of the Howard family.
Locating Emily turns out to be only the beginning. Within hours, Emily's ex-boyfriend is found murdered, and Loy finds himself in a race against time to catch a killer.

"The sharp writing and strong local color distinguish this novel from the common run of thrillers." (Publishers Weekly)

Wonderful prose
Wonderful storytelling, listened to this in a matter of days.
I wavered between disbelief and wondering if it was based on a true story. Revealed a lot about the treatment of women and children and acceptance of sexual abuse from those in power in Ireland.
