About this listen
How do you fall in love with someone who can’t remember you from one day until the next?
Newly single lawyer Gwen Baker needs a family Christmas to bury her woes, with festive films, country walks and a mountain of chocolate.
Her teenage crush Dev is back in their small village as well – and it turns out he’s just as kind, funny and good-looking as she remembers.
But then Gwen wakes up to discover it’s Christmas all over again. She’s trapped in a snowy Groundhog Day. But would repeat meet-cutes with Dev really be so bad for a heart that needs mending?
'This novel tastes like mince pies fresh out of the oven, sprinkled with a dusting of magical realism…A heartwarming romance about the biggest love of our lives: ourselves (and the hot, tall surgeon next door).' Good Housekeeping

laugh out loud and heartwarming
This is my first book by this author. The beginning, the drive home for Christmas, had me considering returning the title because there was little story or character progressions. However, i am SO happy i persevered because it turned into a delightful story, has a charming heroine, lovable characters and a fabulous ending. The unusual situation Gwen finds herself in is completely believable and really well explored. Wonderful narration too!

Don’t be put off by the description
I hesitated on this because I thought it would be like the movie Ground Hog Day and very repetitive. I was so happy to find out it wasn’t. It is a great listen! I liked all of the references to modern day things and people as well.

Love it!
Loved it! Heartwarming, emotional, hilarious ❤️🥲🤣 Not what I was expecting at all, from Lindsey Kelk, but no surprise it was brilliant. A bit different from her other books but right up my street. Love the characters and the story. The Narrator was also brilliant, brought the characters alive. Very comfortable to listen to. At the end I was actually gutted that it was finished. Next book please....😁🤣

Sweet and funny
Made me laugh and cry, a little predictable but in a good way. Lots of great nods to Christmas without being too sickly. I’ll definitely read another one by this author.
