About this listen
Pickax loves a big occasion. The Great Food Expo is about to begin, introducing new restaurants, country inns, food specialty shops and a new food page in the "Moose County Something." Lurking in the background is a killer determined to make this an event Pickax City will never forget.
The Expo begins with a literal bang: a bomb wrecks the hotel, killing a housekeeper and causing extensive damage. Luckily for Pickax, Qwill is on the scene, his moustache twitching with suspicions that this bomb was intended as something stronger than a warning to someone. His evidence: Koko and Yum Yum's new interest in cheese, especially Gruyere, Brie and Feta. Qwill and the Siamese are on a case that will demand all their feline intuition and mustachioed insight!

George has a voice like melted chocolate.
The narrator brings something special to the Cat Who stories. They're charming who done its, with cat lovers especially catered for.

An acquired taste
I found this series of books by accident. I love George Guidall's voice and have listened to a few of the stories more than once because of this. This story is similar to others in the series. Its gentle, familiar and easy.

The cats whiskers.
What can I find wrong with this audible book... Nothing at all.
What can I find right with this book... Everything.
I know that when I pick up a " The Cat Who..." book I'm in for a very good read / listen. Qwill as always stands up for those who can't do so for them selves. 😺😺😉

One of the BEST!
This was an especially great listen, one of the best, I think. George Guidall's voice is perfect for the wry humour and wisdom of the main character; I can almost feel the moustache!! Highly recommended
