Summary

When Jim Qwilleran's friend Polly decides to spend two weeks on vacation with an old girlfriend in Oregon, he finds himself at a loose end—but not for long. A visit from Nick Bamba brings news of a hotbed of mystery.

Nick and his wife fear that their new venture, the Domino Inn, won't see out one summer season, let alone a lifetime. A series of fatal accidents on the recently developed Breakfast Island is beginning to deter further visitors, forcing Jim and his cats, Koko and Yum Yum, to scramble for clues.

th cat who comes up trumps again

narrator was excellent. shame author is dead! Good thing that the author wrote 30 odd books. All the books portray cats very well specially siamese! I enjoyed the audiobook very much!

Another tail . . .

I love these books, I’m re-reading them in order. They are a beautiful combination of detective story, soap opera and feline adoration. I also love the narrator, he has a great understanding of the right pace for these tales and his characterisations are excellent! I have no idea why Audible are issuing books read by another narrator, or why all of the books are not available.

I love these books

Beautifully written and incredibly well narrated, my favourite audiobooks of all time. My only sadness is not having known them sooner. I listen to these over and over again, especially at night and first thing in the morning ~ they’re like magic medicine on days when I feel poorly, anxious, or am struggling with insomnia. So comforting, witty, humorous, well paced, and engaging characters in interesting settings.
