Phenomenal
I discovered Will Wight last year and have been devouring every book he has.
Going into this book, I'll admit, I took it as a something to tide me over until the new Cradle book came out.
Now, I think this might be my new favourite series by him.
Amazing characters with brilliant writing. Travis Bladree as narrator is, as always, knocking it out of the park. Wight is one of the few writers out there who understands the assignment when it comes to overpowered characters; he created a suspenseful, brilliantly paced story that feels like an IV drip of condensed hype.
I started this book two days ago and finished it last night. I can't not give this a 5/5.

Amazing beginnings
It was worth listening even just for the blooper with Lindon. Great build up for another fantastic series! I have to say I don't like anything Sci-Fi but this was fantastic!

Fantastic start to a new series
Really wasn't sure what to expect if I'm honest but i was pleasantly surprised with how this turned out, classic Will with plenty of jokes, big characters and and a well paced easy to follow story. Travis was also brilliant as always, can't wait for the next one!

Great - can't wait for more!
Great narrator and story, doesn't sit still for too long.
It clearly has a lot of lore involved with the universe but it doesn't get bogged down by it, like often happens with these types of books.

Classic Will Wight only in space.
This series is a lot of fun. Super powerful beings running around saving the galaxy from existential threats. And they do it with all of the good humour and fast past action you would expect from a Will Wight book.
It has a really good blend of magical fantasy and sci-fi. With both having a place and making sense... for a fantasy setting. The universe and it's laws are built out almost without you realising.
If you're looking for a fun book about super powerful beings stop here.

Loved every second of it!!
Was a bit sceptical with the theme of magic and scifi mixed, but I should have placed more trust in Will's writing. Everything about the book was on point if you ask me. Intriquing premise, interesting characters, not a single dull moment, massive stakes, and excellent dialogue with just the right amount of humor. Can't wait for the next book!

top notch Sci fi
I read a few will wight fantasy books a few years ago and enjoyed them all. glad I gave his scu fi a go too! really enjoyable, easy listening, fast paced and full of humour. excellently narrated as well, well worth your time!
