A new chapter of a the life of Bob Skinner

Loved the story and listening to James Bryce reading it makes you feel like you’ve slipped into a comfy pair of slippers and settled down for another adventure with Bob. The plot kept you guessing to the end and the bonus story was a treat.

The Cage

I absolutely loved this book. A very intriguing story. I have read and listened to every book in the series. I feel a little sad that this will be the last of Bob. How amazing to finished the way it did. I always love the way James Bryce voices all the characters. Janet from Kent

Mrs sw

A little sadthat this sounds like the last of Bob Skinner. Jardine is one of my very favourite s
Authors and both Keeble and Bryce did him proud with their truly excellent reading of all the chsracters. I have read all the Skinner series and several other books by Jardine. I just love the way he portrsys his good and bad characters a his story lines are brillisnt. Hsving said that i did tire a little with the Spsnish speaking lessons in the last book just glad it didnt keep on.
Thsnks to Jardine, Keeble and Bryce. I will be searching for other books they have read, although i think i have covered most of those Jonathan Keeble has read.

Returned book

Very disappointed after having read /listened to this series from the start. Sad to hear James Bryce reading such a poor script - I got to the point when unable to listen to any more.

Not a great read

I have read/listened to all the Bob Skinner books over the years and must admit that the latter books did not meet the very high standard of the first ones. Let's face it once Bob left the police service the books became more and more silly and far fetched. This book hopefully is the last in the series, or it will be the last in this series that I listen to anyway.
