Summary
Two members of a wedding party and polar opposites in every way are forced to share a room for a night. What begins as a disastrous reservation mix-up may just end up being a date with destiny.
The newly jilted Ginny is feeling awkward as ever at the ritzy Napa Valley wedding. Her tight bridesmaid’s dress isn’t helping matters, and neither is the presence of a perfect-looking groomsman, who wants to dance with her of all things.
Sam has been admiring the quirky beauty all night. He’s got a feeling about her that won’t quit. She’s not his usual type, but maybe that means she’s the one he’s been waiting for. When fate takes a turn and the two are forced to bed down together, Sam can’t believe his luck. But the stubborn and difficult Ginny isn’t in the mood for a rebound or a one-night-stand. And she certainly isn’t in the mood for true love.
The debonair Sam has exactly one night to convince his bespectacled (as well as skeptical) goddess that they are meant for one another.
This particular bridesmaid is going to get very lucky. That is if she can let go of her fears and allow this modern-day prince to give her the fairy tale ending she deserves.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Sweet & Delightful!
This book is an enjoyable, light hearted delight. It is well written and well told with an interesting storyline that is captivating from start to end. I really liked the two lead characters, Virginia is too funny, when she speaks she has no filter at all. What comes out of her mouth is hysterical. Her recent breakup has left her broken hearted and with some low self-esteem issues. She is a bridesmaid for her best friend and is paired with Sam, a friend of the groom. Same is a nice guy with a sweet disposition. Virginia had caught his eye once before, he not only likes what he sees but he is amused by her quirky personality and snarky mouth. I loved how patient he was with her, letting her be herself and handling her emotions with care. This is a fast paced sweet romance and I loved every word of it. Tessa Bowen thank you for this great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Logan McAllister is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. He does a great job with projecting the emotions of the characters into his performance. He set the perfect tone for the story and landed the humor and banter with ease. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Tessa Bowen does it again!
This is a very charming novella, captivating from start to end. The characters are well-developed, engaging, and quirky. The storyline is lighthearted, fun, and flirty with the perfect balance of humour, snark, romance, and steam. Despite the length of the book, the writing is clear, precise, well-paced, and not at all rushed. I do, however, wish it was a bit longer, only because I loved Ginny and Sam's story so much.
Logan McAllister's performance is superb. He captures the essence of Bowen's writing and the distinct personalities of the characters, drawing the listeners further into the story. The Bridesmaid Gets Lucky is a fantastic listen, both the storyline and narration were quite enjoyable.

The Bridesmaid Gets Lucky.
Loved the story, Virginia was a bridesmaid in her best friends wedding, Sam was in the wedding party and gorgeous he was, he was so engrossed. There was so much twists throughout the whole story. Sam and Virginia both banter at each other all night. This book was a great story, a sweet audiobook.
The narrator was clearly spoken and easy to understand.

Sexily funny!
The chemistry between Sam and Virginia is somehow both hot and hysterical. Luckily, Sam is patient because Virginia is convinced she isn't worth it and is rather prickly, which Sam totally uses to his advantage. The story is very sexy but also sweet. And while I wouldn't say these two protagonists have a meet-cute, they certainly make up for it with their silly banter.
Overall, it was a fun audiobook to listen to!

Fun & quick love story
A fun quick love story. Ginny makes me a little crazy. It cracks me up that she lightens up a little after he feeds her dinner lol. He has the patience of a saint. Great narration I love Logan’s voice.

◇ ● ◇ Love the snarkiness ◇ ● ◇
Charming... this is the word that is pretty much been on repeat since starting the Bridesmaid gets Lucky. Sam is just the man any woman would be insanely lucky to have next to her. It's obvious from the start that Ginny has recently had her heart handed to her pulverized. She's closed off. Shes angry and wants nothing to do with the male species. Fate (or Beth) steps in and tosses these two together. This is the beginning of oil and water fighting for the win.
I liked the story. It was crass, blunt, awkward and yes, it was, charming. I found myself smitten. I do wish the story went a bit more in-depth. I could have used more sass and flirty fun.But that would have ruined the light and flirty funness of the story. So, the narrator, Logan McAllister, was a good narrator. I do wish that the book was narrated by a female narrator with some attitude and a ton of snark. I will add that the sexy times were incredible... smokin' hot!!

Second Chance Romantic Comedy
The Bridesmaid Gets Lucky by Tessa Bowen is a second chance novella that I listened to on audio narrated by Logan McAllister.
All I can say is Wow, Tessa did it again! I absolutely love her books. This is the fourth book of hers that I have read and I can’t wait to dive into more of her books.
Logan did an amazing job with the narration. I loved the different voices he used for the Ginny and Sam. His narration really brought the story to life. I cannot wait to listen to his future projects.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Romances, Second Chance Romance, or Romantic Comedies.

Lucky Bridesmaid
Well, that was ... AMAZING! I absolutely loved it from first till last word! A perfect combination of romance, humor and sarcasm (well maybe a bit exaterrated from Ginnys side, but that is Ginny).
Also, narration was one of the best I have ever heard.
I am absolutely recomending this to anyone!
