Disappointed
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Given that not all authors make good narrators, there is a risk to trying to be one, if you don't have the skills. This is the case with this author, so it immediately distracted from the listening experience. There were 18 segments to this audio book and, from segment 15 inclusive, to the end, it had nothing to do with the title of the book and was only about the author and her acknowledgements. I would have preferred more 'content'. Having said that, in my view the content was basic. I kept hoping it would get better, it didn't, so a poor purchase as far as I am concerned.
What could Jen Miller have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Chosen a professional narrator. Don't use almost a quarter of the book talking about 'self'.
Would you be willing to try another one of Jen Miller’s performances?
No, definitely not.
