About this listen
Gabe thinks he’ll never have a bond of his own. He’s bond-cut, which means his scent gland is so scarred, he can’t bond to anyone - not even his best friend, Marcus, who he’s been in love with for six years.
Gabe spends every waking moment with Marcus. They co-own a tattoo parlor and share an apartment. It was Gabe who gave Marcus the vibrant bird tattoos all over his body. But Gabe never plans to tell Marcus about his feelings. Marcus deserves a bond.
Marcus may be huge, even for an alpha, but everyone knows he’s a marshmallow at heart. He’s not going to pressure his bond-cut best friend into a romantic relationship he may not want. Until Gabe’s heat starts early, and a series of accidents lead to a dangerous pregnancy that exposes their true feelings for one another and rocks the foundation of their friendship.
In a world where bonds are everything, can love be enough on its own?
The Bond-Cut Omega is a best-friends-to-lovers romance with knotting, MPreg, manties, and hurt/comfort. It’s a companion audiobook for the Nerds Who Knot Series, but it stands alone.

How can you get a HEA with your mate if you can’t bond?
This is the issue that both MC’s face in this story.
I’m a huge fan of this author but I am new to this narrator.
The MC’s are best friends who are in love but for various reasons don’t feel worthy of the other.
One early heat and the parameters of their relationship changes but this is where the angst kicks in.
Misunderstandings, initially unsupportive family members, feelings of ill worth make for tense middle section of the book which I must say the narrator nailed and at times I felt tearful listening to their narration.
Of course there’s a HEA which isn’t overly saccharine and I like that the MC’s don’t stick to typical gender roles.
My only niggle was that I felt the narrator didn’t feel quite right for Marcus, but that might be because they are new to me. However, everyone else was spot on.

I got thrown out of the story experience by an unexpected laugh at ch 7. 'the most powerful orgasm I've ever had in my life.' and found myself laughing at the narration of every sexual moment.
I guess audible isn't made for me :p

Bonded in a new way
The narration by Lance ways flawless and spot on. The story was as I am used to by Ms Bellows, I can always see links to our own society.
The bonus was saucy and sweet.
Triggers may apply for some.

Bellows always delivers
As always with a Bellows book I have felt ALL the emotions with this one. It’s so sweet, heartfelt, at times painful, and just beautiful. Lance West is a new to me narrator (and maybe new to the scene in general), but I’ll definitely be looking for more from him.

wonderful book!!
Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I really really loved how it was done in this book. I liked how caring they were with each other and how their love helped them heal from past wounds. Also the reasons why the two of them weren't together even though they had feelings for each other and were friends and roommates and business partners for years were real and it took time to resolve and I appreciated that as a reader. Wonderful book with wonderful characters that warmed my heart! I thought that the narrator did a fantastic job bringing it to life.

Finally Found What they're Always Wanted.
MM, Alpha/Omega, Mpreg, Best friends to lovers, Romance. A great story that was the perfect length to listen to in one sitting, narrated smoothly by Lance West and I could not fault anything in his performance. I really loved the story of these two best friends who had been wanting so much more but had been too scared of losing each other in a failed attempt to have more. Some angst but a very sweet and hot Alpha/Omega, Mpreg romance. HEA.

Loved it
I love Amy Bellows, and this book is yet another wonderful story. I’ve not listening to the narrator before, but would definitely listen to him again, and fond him very soothing to the listen to. If you like wonderful stories where people overcome societal challenges to reach their happy ever after, then give it a try!

Lovely Story
I love this book! I love best friends to lovers books and this was perfect. Both Gabe and Marcus were so relatable and loveable. This is an excellent short read.
Lance was a new narrator to me and I thought he did a really good job, he really suited my image of Gabe in particular.
