About this listen
In Garden Grove, everything is very calm and peaceful, and the spirits of the earth: Grunch, Ruff, and Rocky; air: Swifty and Pinwheel, and water: Muff and Wiz are very happy. And sometimes, Archie and Sparky, who live in the flames and embers, visit when someone lights a fire.
Then, a logger and an oilman arrive and disrupt the grove when the logger begins sawing to cut down trees and the oilman drills for oil. But the spirits seek to drive them out. Gruff shakes the earth, Ruff rustles tree branches, and Rocky throws rocks, while Swifty and Pinwheel stir up the wind. Soon, Muff and Wiz are churning the water in the stream, and Archie and Sparky cause the fire to rise up and scare the men when they cook hot dogs.
So, what will happen? Will the spirits of nature win out? Can they scare the men into leaving? Or will the logger and oil fight back and win? The Battle for Garden Grove tells the story.
