Summary

Through faith in the Lord Jesus alone can we obtain forgiveness of our sins and be at peace with God; but, believing in Jesus, we become, through this very faith, the children of God; have God as our Father; and may come to him for all the temporal and spiritual blessings we need.

When he trusted in an extraordinary God, George Müller discovered endless possibilities and helped thousands of people throughout his lifetime. The Autobiography of George Müller is his inspiring journey from his life of sin and rebellion to his eye-opening conversion to Christianity. Share his struggles and triumphs as he establishes orphan homes to care for thousands of children. Müller's unwavering dependence upon his heavenly Father will inspire listeners to confidently trust God in every area of life.

Challenging but encouraging.

Part memoir, part annual reviews of the work he led, this is deeply challenging to faith, and yet highly encouraging too. Yes, there is a deal of number-crunching - but that in itself is a sign of how much God turned Müller's life around, given how he had spent much of his youth.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely Awe-inspiring

Challenged to live a life of faith & prayer. So much of the experiences shared I can relate to. But up till now not able to make my boast in God's faithfulness alone. After this I can only seek to prove God in my own experiences through faith & prayer with patience

Primarily a journal of faith

After the first few chapters this book takes the form of a journal rather than a book. It is an amazing account of Gds provision for the work George Mueller undertook.
At times quaint and repetitive but well worth the listen.

Story goes slowly but it is full of facts.

I loved the author's faith and devotion. The book showed real faith without compromises. Life really devoted to God.

Powerful autobiography showing the power of prayer

Time after time Mueller prayed and God answered and provided! A challenging and encouraging autobiography narrating the life of this man used greatly of God in the 1800s. It is a long listen but well worth the time. It will leave you with the challenge to pray expectantly, with dependence on God to act and provide .

Faith building

What an amazing testimony of God’s financial provision for a very worthwhile ministry. No one was asked for money in order that God be glorified. Only downside was the repetition of stated sums received but great teaching none the less.
