About this listen
Discover unlimited power of words at your negotiating table….
Would you like to learn one of the most important skills every successful CEO has?
Did you know that negotiation is the ground base of leadership and high – performance?
Or maybe, you just want to improve your professional and social communication skills?
Either the case may be, you are definitely interested, so just keep listening.…
The Art of Negotiation – a book that is going to change your perception about negotiation books and teach you everything from the simplest to most difficult situations.
In today's world of opportunities, it is very rare for a person to have good communication skills. In the 21st century, technology destroyed most people’s ability to speak around people, to use their brain and their mouth at the same time. Negotiation, along with leadership and public speaking, is one of those skills that almost nobody has, or even if they have them to some degree, the level is very low.
After more than three years of analysis of high-performance people, most successful negotiators and speakers, people who are at a very top of what they do, I decided to create and teach you not only the fundamentals but to make a complete step-by-step guide of negotiation.
Take a look at only a few things you will get out of this book:
- Most important negotiating skills you must develop
- Negotiating the impossible – how to overcome the most difficult situations
- What is a win-win mindset, and why you need to develop it
- When you should not negotiate
- Most common negotiating traits
- Much, much more….
What if I am a complete beginner with no previous experience?
It’s even better. Most people had some kind of experience before, but more often than not, their knowledge is either outdated or wrong. Keep these words in mind: “It’s easier to grow a child than to repair a broken man.”
And it doesn’t matter whether you are negotiating for better conditions in the company, speaking with suppliers about lower prices or higher quality products, or maybe you are going to be in the conference hall making the biggest deal in your carrier, this book will assist you in every situation.
If you came to this point, you are definitely ready to take action, so don’t wait.

Boring
Struggled to continue listening to it. Extremely boring, theoretical and without real-world scenarios. Chosen as first audiobook in Audible, not the best choice I could have done.

Narration is not good
I believe the details in the book are interesting but the narration makes listening a very difficult process as it is clunky and not well spaced by the reader.

The more you're grateful for something. You will attract more things to be grateful for, this not an overnight thing.

Slouchy, indistinct, mumbly narrator - amateurish.
I can't comment much about the contents, as I have lasted only 20 mins into the book and could not continue and bear the narrator/reader who can't pronounce words properly and mumbles them in a slouchy way. It has nothing to do with the American accent. The reader's voice is just neglectful and not articulated or modulated in any way. It's as if a half-drunken grandpa was reading something aloud (sorry for bluntness, but such people should never call themselves profesional narrators). You can hear clicks in the background, sentences are cut with pauses right in the middle. Total amateurish job that burries the potentially interesting content.
