About this listen

We often struggle to let some people go, especially when they made that decision. We question the universe, we question ourselves, and we question everyone around us but we never truly get our answers. Letting someone go takes time, patience, and commitment to actively stop ourselves from relapsing and thinking about that person again. The Art of Letting Go helps you understand why, how, and when you should let someone go so you can move on and never look back.

Best short audiobook

The best short audiobook about letting go! Must have for all adult women. Great inspirational quotes on relationships. I love Thought Catalog and I knew that this would be worth pursuing.

👍🏽👍🏽

😁

Nice short enough but formative enough listen I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love how the author read the book. I think it was very well looking for something.

words of wisdom focus on women

Some beautiful words of wisdom but it felt heavily for straight women and avoided male suffering or different types of relationships

Good as a foundation

Really good but mainly a selection of quotes by other people.

Not the best narrator voice.

Some Useful Information

I think where a lot of books devoted to letting go fall short is that, by its nature, letting go can be a very protracted and difficult undertaking for some people, necessitating an ongoing dialogue in order for the individual to resolve the impediments to letting go. Books like this are a one-off download, often containing very sensible and sound advice but that's it. Even a re-read sometimes yields nothing further and so the ultimate objective remains unattained. Maybe this is where therapy comes in?

Essentially a 25 things I wish I new before I was 25 TikTok

If you’ve read anything by Brianna Weiss there’s no point in reading this. Similar to 101 essays. It’s like your teacher reading a breakup twitter thread out loud. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone over 21. That being said the contents itself offers solid perspectives even if it’s predictable and cliche.
