Really good alien romance
If you like a steamy alien romance, you won't be disappointed with this.
Story: Despite being a similiar storyline to many other alien romances out there (human woman taken by hot alien against her will) this brought a new and fresh take. I loved the Vax's negotiations with Kate to get what he wanted from her rather than her just blindly going along with his plan. The story unfolded naturally with enough plot twists to hold my interest to the end.
Characters: Kate was no weak heroine and kept fighting both for her freedom and later for what she believed in. Vax was an very determined alpha male but definitely on the sweeter side. For me this book was only missing a strong B story with some secondary characters we could really feel for to add an additional layer of interest.
Setting: the world building was solid without being the most innovative.
Romance: Watching Kate's feelings grow for Vax in a slow burn was convincing and made their relationship more believable. Overall, the romance was both hot and sweet and had me really rooting for them by the end.
Steaminess: highly steamy. Over 18s only.
Narration: good clear reading, no complaints without being the best in the field.

Aliens prize
I listen audiobook version and I liked the story. Narrators were amazing and I love their voices. I wish there would be audion versions from books 6 and 7 someday. If you like aliens, romance and sex you should reed or listen this one.

Disappointing
After reading the Horde king series (which was brilliant!) I was so disappointed in this book. There’s barely any story line and it’s very short. If you just want to listen to repetitive sex then you’ll be happy. But if I use a credit I like a decent story. Apparently the story continues in the next book which seems a money spinner. I think both for one credit would be better value.

Really?!!!
I think even the narrator had problems with this one. I just don't know what the writer's intentions was with this book as it started out OK and then...sort of...disappeared into very bad 70's porn.
Plot? What plot?!! I could not even make it to the end. It was only 5hrs long but my ears were bleeding after 2!!! Sorry Zoey 😞
