Summary
Are you tired of starting a new diet and then disappointing yourself every time? Do you feel that no matter how motivated you are, you will always fall back into the trap of out-of-control eating?
If you're overweight now, own it. You have fat, but you don't have to say you are fat. It's not your identity unless you want it to be. What you are is a complex human being who can make choices to improve your life at any time - even right now.
In this book, you won't find a list of top 10 metabolism boosters. You won't find any magic or any quick fixes to make your belly flat just in time for the weekend. And I won't encourage you to avoid one food group like the plague or buy a new set of tiny crockery or pray the fat away.
What you can expect from this challenge is a no-nonsense, common-sense approach to shaking off some of the dieting industry's BS and trying to remember what our bodies know. We'll look at common-sense ways to gradually and safely lose weight that honor our instincts, not go against them.
The 21-Day Weight Loss Challenge will help you to:
- Realize that right now you have fat, as opposed to being fat. It's not your identity; it's a temporary state, a choice.
- Explore and understand the excuses and reasons that keep you overweight. Why aren't you more active? Why aren't you eating healthier? Why do you eat when your body isn't hungry?
- Estimate your caloric requirements, the sweet spot where you slowly but steadily lose weight without feeling hungry and miserable all the time
- Let go of magic pills, shakes, and other stuff in the dieting industry that colleagues and that skinny YouTube chick want you to believe in.
- Take responsibility for loving, respecting, and nourishing your body

Just what I needed
It’s safe to say that the weight loss genre is packed with people claiming to have miracle cures capable of helping you lose loads of weight effortlessly. As a serial dieter I have been taken in by these claims numerous times but in the end I always wind up seeing little change which is extremely discouraging. I’ve never given up hope completely though and when I came across this book it instantly got my attention, as someone who implements the law of attraction in various other aspects of my life I found the concept of using it for weight loss fascinating. The mind is an extremely powerful tool but so few people actually utilize its full power, with nothing to lose and plenty to gain I decided to give this a try.
I’m ashamed to admit that in the past I have struggled to maintain certain diets, there are many temptations around and my sweet tooth has always been a weakness. However, following the advice and methods this book contains has really made a difference to my eating habits, I feel more motivated to stick to my goals and old cravings are a lot less intense.
For me this is what separates this guide from others, instead of just listing some healthy foods to eat it actually helps to give you the correct mind-set so that you can consciously curb your bad habits and eat healthily, best of all it doesn’t feel like you’re on a diet. Instead everything just feels natural like it’s the right thing to do.
As a result of my improved attitude towards food and diet I’ve managed to lose just over half a stone in 3 weeks. This is a significant amount considering the previous results I’ve had from other diets, looking to the future I’m now both excited and optimistic. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others, the information is presented in a clear and concise manner making it easy to understand and implement the recommendations, most importantly of all though is the fact that it works.

one of my favourite series
I think this is a great read for those who are just off-track in their lives; a great way to kind of evaluate your life as a whole. If you notice a lack of motivation, this book does a great job of giving you steps to facilitate that change.
Well written and thought-provoking. Not preachy, just informative and enlightening.

Impressed with this book!
The knowledge shared in this book was a true eyeopener for me, it's so painfully simple and common sense.
I have to be honest though, part of me likes the information and knows there is no way around this solution for permanent weight loss, apart from a lifetime of fighting, struggling and trying. But the other part of me wants to keep spending tons of money on magic pills and promises, just in case they work..
I have decided for myself to do the exercises that resonate with me on a daily basis to gradually shift my mindset towards food and myself *fingers crossed* It's to early to say if the approach works for me, but if you have a spare hour and are tired of dieting I can highly recommend to listen to this book.
@publisher/author, is there a Facebook support group?

good book, worth the time
I bought this book on audible and am listening to it for a second time - it's clear to see why some people do things that don't help them. This book helped me find ways to do things like exercise everyday and make it automatic! I highly recommend.

Informative
I thought the book was easy to get through and seems to ring true in my gut as to how we should behave; but that being said I believe a lot of it to be a tall order for people stuck in todays societal habits. With all weight loss suggestions, you have to really want it and be willing to sacrifice to get it! Which in my experience is the really hard part.

Good old common sense with a touch of humour
I loved this. Common sense and very funny. It really does bring you back to basics and takes all the noise and complexity out of losing weight. I can guarantee you’ll hear a few home truths that will resonate with you specifically and will make you laugh. I really do recommend this book for its no nonsense and honesty. It’s short and I’ve enjoyed listening to it more than once.

worth the read
When reading these type of books, I always feel like you had to do what works for you. If you can find a small change that will better your life then it was worth it. All the tips are not going to work for everyone and it's too overwhelming to try and implement all of them. I found a few things that worked for me and make it worth the read.
