About this listen
This qualitative research study is the culmination of three years of research centered around the question, “What are the struggles of Black Male Educational leaders on their journey to becoming an Educational Leader?” The purpose of this research is to understand the journey for Black males, the environment of education, and how both have intertwined for generations.
Since our earliest days, mankind has used tools to create the world and environment that we live in today. Some tools come and go, but our brain has evolved to both use and intake the tool we have used the longest. The Power of this tool is not disturbed by where you live, the language you speak, or the year you were born.
How does the use of this tool effect Black Male Educational Leaders? How does it affect education? How can it be used to lead us to a solution? Allow me to introduce you to the unimaginable story of the unheard.
“To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour.” (Sir Winston Churchill)
