But when she begins to delve deeper into her husband's secret life, she makes discoveries that will make her question everything she knows - and make her fear for her young daughter's life.

Facing an impossible decision, she is desperate to uncover the truth. But once you know something, it can’t be unknown. And the more she learns, the more she wishes she never knew anything at all....

Overrated

Note sure if I’ve read too many of these types of books but I didn’t find it particularly original or gripping. I guess the ending half way through, thought “no that would be too weird/obvious” but alas...

Enjoyable but a little predictable

I enjoyed this book and thought he voice acting was brilliant however I did feel that the twists in the story itself were a little predictable as I’d predicted both twists early on in the story. This may not have been as predictable if I had read the book rather than listened. I will definitely be reading a few more Adam Croft books.

Very good!

Really enjoyed this book but it would have been even better if multiple voices were used for all the different characters instead of just 2. excellent story behind it though.

predictable but easy to follow

Easy to listen to, well written, if I a little predictable. Good enough to keep listening, even once you know how it will all end.

Wonderful performance

I want to congratulate Tamsin Kennard, Andrew Kingston and Alan Medcroft for their superb voice performances. They made an unlikely and dubious story worth listening to.

Could have given us more. Brutal description

Really unsettling descriptions of children being murdered which I really struggled with. Very vivid and upsetting. Narrator was good and character description was well done.
Kind of guessed quite early on what was going on but was looking forward to how it all was going to unfold but it was disappointingly lacking. Could have been a longer book with much more involved. I view this book almost as a short story and as it is I enjoyed it.

Disappointing.

A real let down for me. No twist, obvious from the start. Waste of a credit!
