This audiobook is derived from the evidence of his own words and deciphered from his actions. It begins with his childhood and then quickly uncovers the major events that shaped his spirit and America’s soul. The premise of this audiobook is to be the light that shines on his thoughts and words. It is to understand him so that we may understand America better.
Go ahead. Find out what crossed his mind and what animated his spirit. listening about him here will bring a greater sense of appreciation for this land we call home. Roosevelt tells us to apply strenuous effort to make this country great. This audiobook shows us how and why. It allows us to elevate our personal standards and emulate this great man.
This is not just an audiobook that looks at the dates and places of a man’s life. It is a template for understanding why this country of ours is what it is and how a man who entered this world with such challenges challenged the status quo and won.

The Bumpy Rise of Theodore Roosevelt
This is probably one the best biographies I have ever listen. This book is superbly written and researched, which makes every chapter truly delicious. Morris covers the extraordinary life of Theodore Roosevelt from his birth until he was nominated as the Unites States 26th president. Another reason for this book to be so interesting is TR's full-of-events life. From his days as a sick little child with asthma to his days as a cowboy in Medora up to becoming president, TR truly lived a life without a dull minute.

Think you don't. like nonfiction?
Many nonfiction books are dry recitations of facts. This, however, listens like an action novel while, at the same time, providing facts and data that give a full and accurate picture of the man and his times. I could not stop listening it!!!!
