About this listen
Loving omega/beta couple needs help establishing a more alpha-like dynamic. Please reply ASAP.
Asher Townsend is a big, sweet lug of a beta. When he's not running heavy equipment in his job at a local rock quarry, he’s spending his time romancing his omega boyfriend, Dakota, and trying to find ways to make their relationship stronger. All Asher wants is to love and be loved - romance is king, and he longs to make his partner feel just like royalty.
Dakota Coleman isn't your typical omega. He doesn't want hearts, flowers, or any of that other mushy sap. All he needs is a trusting relationship filled with good companionship and hot sex. Other than that, he’s happy in his high-pressure sales job and doesn’t need much else, although he has dreams of starting a family.
After Dakota's failed attempt to get his too-vanilla boyfriend to be more dominant and creative in the bedroom blows up in their faces, Asher suggests they contact Rent-a-Dom for an alpha who can teach him the skills he needs to fulfill Dakota's fantasies.
Guy Daily has three firm rules - no kissing, no cuddling, and no overnights. When he finds himself breaking all three with his intriguing new clients, he's not very happy about it. And yet he also can't stop thinking about the two men who've caught his attention.

Great third instalment
I am enjoying this series and this story in particular. Asher and Dakota are a Beta and Omega couple. I was pleased to see a Beta featuring in a story for a change. Despite loving each other a lot they are not able to meet each other’s needs. Their relationship is portrayed extremely well. Asher is so sweet and lovely. Dakota is practical but not a great communicator. It’s hard to see how two people with such differing outlook on romance and sex could last. This is where in desperation they seek a teacher to learn to be what each other needs. Guy is the hired Dom, he is an Alpha. It soon becomes apparent that he is their linchpin. He quickly sees and is able to give them both what they need. The story comes together once Guy starts to be involved. They all just blend together and become a lovely little family.
Nick J Russo’s Narration is spot on. The voices and inflections he gave to the three characters made them stand out perfectly.

The Beta, the Omega and their Alpha Dom teacher
In this third book of the Rent-A-Dom series, Nick J. Russo does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life with unique voices. I love how the existing couple Asher and Dakota, a gentle Beta and a headstrong Omega, go the extra mile to try to save their relationship that has started to fail on a sexual and personal interrelationship level. Enter Guy, an Alpha and Dom, who has been booked to show Asher how to take charge more in the bedroom since Dakota is fed up of being the one who makes the decisions at home as well as at work in his demanding sales job at the quarry where he and Asher both work.
Guy tries to stick to his rules, and I love how he soon figures out that the couple are missing a vital component...a bridge!
They all do their best to keep everything strictly professional, even as both Asher and Dakota fight their attraction to the sexy Alpha Dom. Will Guy break all his rules and become what they all need? When Dakota is in a terrible accident, Asher turns to Guy for strength and comfort. I love how an unexpected joy helps them all come together. Highly recommended for all fans of Susi Hawke everywhere.

Good 3rd instalment
This is the third book in Rent-a-Dom series and can be read as a stand alone.
Dakota is rather unconventional omega, one which has a demanding and high powered job but then wishes to be dominated in bed but none of the romance. He is in a relationship with Asher a Beta who works as a construction worker in the same company, but Asher loves to romance Dakota and is not comfortable dominating.
Enter Guy from Rent-a-Dom to teach them to be more compatible in the bedroom, feelings soon evolve, and an unplanned pregnancy.
I absolutely loved Asher and felt his hurt and disappointment, maybe that’s because I’m a romantic at heart too lol
It was great to see a Beta starring in one of these types of books as they always seem to get a back seat.
It took me a long while to warmup to Dakota, I just thought he was thoughtless and hurtful.
Probably would be my my least favourite of the series if it hadn’t been for Asher.

as great as the ebook
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Nick J Russo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

honest
the portrayal of a relationship on the make it or break it line and having not only the strength to want to fix it but allowing someone else in to help was truly amazing. great job all around for this book.
