Loves the stories, but not the narrator
I really liked the stories, but I was not a fan of the narrator.
First, the stories themselves are definitely the most substantial aspect of the audiobook. The stories contain thrills and creepy moments, from eerie encounters with ghosts to bizarre supernatural events. The title story, "Talking with My Dead Dad," stands out for its emotional weight, intertwining grief with the paranormal in a way that adds depth to the horror. The overall atmosphere across the collection is eerie and unsettling, and the twists are unpredictable enough to keep you on edge.
However, the narration was a bit of a letdown. Throughout much of the audiobook, the narrator's delivery felt somewhat monotone and off.
Despite this, I still enjoyed the stories themselves!

Some good stories with thought provoking themes
The stories in this audiobook are mostly pretty good. Easy to pick up and listen to a few when time is short. There are many with morals associated that I really liked.
I didn't love the narration. it got better later in the book, But several times the shocking, impactful parts were delivered with no real change in tone. Also there's little to no break between one story finishing and the next beginning, so sometimes you don't even realise you are on a new story.
I will look out for more from the author, but probably avoid the audio version if a printed version is available.

Fun horror stories
This is great for a quick listen. Funny little horror stories.
My only criticism would be the narration - a longer pause or a chapter number between each story would be more ideal as it seems to move on really quickly.

Good, fun listen!
Great, fun stories. Enjoyed the listen and narration really worked. Could do with some spacing between stories. Would recommend.
