About this listen

Taking the Queen: A Caper is an international crime tale within opposing lenses of time with characters of many facets battling their demons and paying the price for their quirks. J. R. Camelback’s caper has depicted those certain basic truths about our US spy agencies. Although for some, if there is an odd-fashioned hopeful redemption, the others pay in strange ways for infinite crimes committed internationally against the world order.

The question of seeking a whistle blower's tip sets up a botched FBI counterintelligence operation hidden within the maze of investigative government agency files under the Freedom of Information Act. And as well, the flaws of former investigative reporter Prometheus Foster, along with his one time colleague Smarty Jason, are on display amid the DC bubble. The FBI's top management's determination to protect past decision-making failures hits a roadblock when a former reporter truth seeker with askew incentives follows the query process to find the mysterious files.

As for the solution, Prometheus Foster and Smarty Jason will pry out the facts. The end result is an inventive resorting to alternative methods, leading to some epiphanies for those involved.

Interesting story

The story was interesting and the way that the different elements were interwoven was interesting. I did struggle a bit with the narration though but it worked when I got used to it.
