About this listen

The echoes of betrayal still ring loud, but vengeance is within reach.

The thirst for power grows. The call for allies intensifies.

Reunited with his purpose, Sloan's ascent continues.

In a world where deceit shaped its history, a new era of rifts dawns. Red rifts, harbingers of divine wrath, bring forth gods and monsters, challenging humanity's very existence. As anarchy rises, the remnants of humanity cling to survival, relying on the Hunters who brave these rifts to keep them at bay. Amidst the chaos, the so-called heroes maintain their rule over the fractured land, backed by the powerful Association that seeks to control the coming change.

But change is inevitable, and Sloan will be at the heart of it. Level by level, he'll advance, navigating the treacherous landscape of gods, Hunters, and a world on the brink of collapse. With each step, he will reclaim the destiny that was taken from him. His vengeance.

Confused

I was very confused as to what was going on for the first 7 chapters or so, I did seem to get what was going on after that.
I really hate it when they change narrator !! this person killed the vibe of the story and made it hard to tell which character was talking and did a poor job of attempting a female voice.
the end felt rushed and could have had it spread over the last 2 book instead it was crammed into the last 15 short chapters.

Great action story (even with the narrator change)

So straight off the bat I will explain I am not a fan of when a series switch’s narrators, now I appreciate it is not the new narrators fault, and there are plenty reason why this happens, but it unfortunately detracts from my listening experience.
So after that why the five stars, because it is still a great book, it is a continuum of the betrayed underdog coming back.
Spoilers
So while getting stronger, the main MC has gained the attention of some stronger hunters, with rifts getting stability issues, will he survive!

Good follow up but suffered from narrator change

Good sequel audiobook but it suffers from switching narrators, that's not saying that Max Dowler did a bad job, In fact he did a very good job but it was very jarring going from Adam Stubbs who I thought was fantastic in the first audiobook to a new narrator.

Awesome story and ending!

I have received this free copy for an honest review. This was an awesome book with quite different setting, betrayal, challenge, adventure, a mission for our mc. Having to start all over but having a second chance. And what a chance, he has to fight for all his worth! This second audio was even more amazing with challenges and conquests, and if possible even more betrayal! The narration is great, clear and easy to understand, it gives life to the characters quite well!

amazing series

Really love this series. The Characters are so well-written. There's a lot of action and adventure mixed with betrayal and vengeance. The world-building is simply amazing and there real struggle for the MC. Loved it

When gods must kneel

System Reborn Vol 3 & 4
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review

Genre: LitRPG fantasy with
Explicit/adult material: None.

Summary
After emerging from the red rift, Sloan is desperately trying to stay out of the public eye. But for how long can he stay hidden from the ghosts of his past?

Narration
Voice diversity: Good. Great for a male solo narrator.
Pacing and intonation: Good, but a little stiff/theatrical.
The narrator has been changed since the first book, though the new narrator does a good job, I personally preferred the previous narrator.
Overall: 4 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- The skill set of the MC is interesting and I enjoy the minion focused combat.
- The bigger players are coming into play and the MC is starting to feel powerful rather than powerful for his rank
- Great and interesting combat and action scenes

The book’s weaknesses.
- It is becoming a little too much action and not enough character and relationship focus for me.

Overall: 4.5/5 stars

Entertaining and kept me engaged

I enjoyed the narration, felt like he was really enjoying playing the parts and gave a great performance, the story was entertaining but the end was a little faster paced than I had hoped but that didn't take away from it at all.

Just a rip-off of solo Leveling

This is a complete ripoff of solo Leveling Which is just better in every way and there’s even less books and mc gets betrayed and has a little bro to (note to author) don’t copy other people’s book that have already been made.people don’t use your credits on this get solo Leveling it’s way better longer series and OG which is the best series.
