About this listen
From the New York Times and Sunday Times best-selling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new steamy, STEMinist novella....
Nothing like a little rivalry between scientists to take love to the next level.
Mara, Sadie and Hannah are friends first, scientists always. Though their fields of study might take them to different corners of the world, they can all agree on this universal truth: when it comes to love and science, opposites attract and rivals make you burn....
Logically, Sadie knows that civil engineers are supposed to build bridges. However, as a woman of STEM, she also understands that variables can change, and when you are stuck for hours in a tiny New York elevator with the man who broke your heart, you earn the right to burn that brawny, blond bridge to the ground. Erik can apologise all he wants, but to quote her rebel leader—she'd just as soon kiss a Wookiee.
Not even the most sophisticated of Sadie's superstitious rituals could have predicted such a disastrous reunion. But while she refuses to acknowledge the siren call of Erik's steely forearms or the way his voice softens when he offers her his jumper, Sadie can't help but wonder if there might be more layers to her cold-hearted nemesis than meet the eye. Maybe, possibly, even burned bridges can still be crossed....
To enjoy Mara and Hannah's stories, look for the novellas Under One Roof and Below Zero.

Even better than first one
I love the way the author writes and I consider this second part even better than the first one. Definitely recommend it!

Cute & steamy
Ali Hazelwood - what a talent. Even in the shortest of formats, I was so invested in the story and cared so much for characters.
Epilog made me giggle into my pillow in the middle of the night.

Sock puppet Vs Tall horse
Could do better. Sock Puppet is tiny, Tall Horse is not. Yet they manage to couple and kiss at the same time, meaning they have the same length body..... Odd.
How long are his legs??
When they walk down the street is conversation possible? Can they hold hands without looking like parent and child?

Quick and Spicy
I got through this in an evening. There was something really endearing about the narrator's voice which I really enjoyed. I generally enjoyed the novella, the miscommunication aspect of course had me a little frustrated but I am happy with the outcome!

Overall pretty good
I loved the story, the sweet gooey cuteness of it. The sex scenes were gorgeous!
Only downside was the voice for Erik, it was a little unbearable to listen to due to the cringe. Just sounds a bit ridiculous.

quick and sweet
ahhh the miscommunication trope.
some times I love it some times and I hate and and on this occasion I'm indifferent.
although this is a short story you can connect to the characters quite quickly.
I did over all enjoy it but won't be something I read again.

Trashy
A lame story compared to the author's other hit trending
romance, with an over-whiny, unlikeable and personality deprived central female character. I'm sorry to have wasted a credit
.
