About this listen

THE DEFINITIVE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF ONE OF ENGLAND CRICKET'S GREATEST EVER PLAYERS.

Stuart Broad is a competitor - someone who's addicted to Test cricket and the pressure that it brings.

For over 17 years, he's been leading England's attack and being responsible for some of the greatest moments in world cricket. Following the 2023 Ashes, he announced his retirement from the sport and now, for the first time, he tells his story. From his legendary 8-15 spell against Australia to taking 600 wickets, this is an inside look at his career and the moments in his life that made him.

Candid, personal, and genuine, this is the story of a true cricketing great.

A fascinating and entertaining insight into the past and present philosophy and attitude of English cricket.
I’ve always admired Stuart’s attitude and determination irrespective of having to get his boots back on because of the top order batmen letting him and his fellow bowlers down. To retire at the very top of your game was a tough decision but a typically brave one from one of our greatest cricketers.

Would have moved Broady to speak a bit more however by the end I thought Chris’ voice was Broads. Great insight from a great and I look forward to reading the next one after a few years on the punditry circuit, because he has already delivered some belters!!!
