About this listen
Stranger Sheffield is the sequel to 2021's Strange Sheffield
Since the release of Strange Sheffield Adrian Finney found himself as the host of the Strange Sheffield Ghost Tours under his Strange Britain brand. In this role he quickly found himself deluged with stories sent to him from the people of Sheffield and he began researching.
Those stories are what are at the core of Stranger Sheffield.

Spooky Stuff!
Another great selection of about 30 ghostly tales from in and around Sheffield from the pen of Adrian Finney. The stories are well written and entertaining keeping the listener glued to the book. I have listened to it twice in the last week to try and make sure I missed nothing! LOL! I particularly like the addition of "Final Goodbyes" and "The Myth of the modern ghost" at the end of the book, the first bringing back memories of personal experience and the second a kind of insight into Adrian's own thoughts. Pete McGiffen is once again brilliant in his narration adding drama and suspense to the telling. Highly Recommended listen.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest and unbiased review.

Stranger Sheffield
Another great anthology of ghost stories and supernatural shenanigans from Sheffield storyteller Adrian Finney. This collection is similar in tone and style to his earlier works. The Ghost Stories are a mix of eye witness accounts and anecdotes, the sort of thing you'd hear in a darkened pub snug.
Narrator Peter McGiffen's approach fits the tales well, not too melodramatic, but engaged and entertaining. I'd recommend this collection. 5☆
