About this listen
Many of us live on autopilot, often so guarded that we don't experience the potential richness that life has to offer. How can we find real happiness amidst the chaos, where we don't reach our life's end and feel we missed out?
In Stop Missing Your Life, mindfulness teacher Cory Muscara takes us on a journey into the heart of what is required for real change, growth, and happiness. He exposes how the phrase 'be present' has become little more than a platitude, imbued with the misguided message to be present just for the sake of being present, and reveals how to achieve true presence: a quality of being that is unmistakably attractive about a person, and one that comes only when we've peeled back the layers of guarding that prevent us from being our full, honest and integrated selves in the world.
Muscara demonstrates how we build internal walls, what he describes as a 'Pain Box' inhibiting us from living a deeply connected and meaningful life. He offers a four-part FACE model (Focus, Allow, Curiosity and Embodiment) that helps chip away at those walls and builds our capacity to experience the richness of our lives.
Stop Missing Your Life ultimately teaches how we can find peace in the chaos and become better people for our family, our communities and our world.

Relatable and easy to understand!
I really like this Audiobook and feel like Cory is much more relatable than other gurus out there. I enjoy that he brings mindfulness into the modern world and makes it easy to understand and implement into daily life. I am eagerly waiting for Cory to release another book! He is inspiring and encouraging. Thank you for sharing Cory.

Presence made simple
Feels like this book puts many things I've been learning throughout the past couple of years in one place. Very practical yet with profound teachings. Loved the attention given to period cycles and cycles overall. Something that's really missing in the way we lead our lives nowadays. Also, Cory' s voice is very pleasant to listen to. Thank you for making your teachings available in this format as well 🙏

Incompatible narration
If you are sensitive to narration style this may be a tricky listen.
I discovered Cory on Instagram. I found his content to be insightful, considered and gentle in delivery. I have made several attempts to listen, allow and absorb this work but find the intensity of the narration engulfs the content. The rapid pace of delivery was unexpected; there is an intense sense of a recording time meter running so the book must be read as quickly as possible. This urgency pairs with a persistently loud, zealous tone that reverberates like anxious excitement, present even during the initial meditation exercise. These combined elements overwhelm the contemplations and teachings; such a stark contrast to the way Cory emanates his reflections on Instagram,
