Summary

”I am Grimalkin, and I have already chosen those I will kill…”

Grimalkin has made it her lifetime ambition to destroy the Fiend, avenging the brutal murder of her son. Having grudgingly joined forces with the Spook and his apprentice, Tom, and assisted them in the binding of the Fiend, she is now on the run. And her mission is deadly. She has to help them bind the Fiend's spirit forever no matter who - or what - comes after it…

This latest chilling instalment in the Wardstone Chronicles follows Grimalkin, the terrifying witch assassin, feared wherever she is known. The series that inspired the forthcoming movie The Seventh Son, starring Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes and Julianne Moore.

LOVE!!

This book was amazing!!! absolutely loved this book and I have to say I am a massive fan girl for Grimalkin! ever since her first appearance in the series but this book too my love for her character beyond than I could imagine.

I felt myself slip away into their world whilst reading it, some parts I laughed at which is something I've never done because of a book before! I even almost cried at parts in the story! each chapter more captivating than the next!!!

love the new characters too and the backstory of one particular character.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

loved it

it's a little darker than normal. it's a really good little book. well worth it. however it would.make sense if you were to stat at the beginning of the story at the spooks apprentice.

very well written and dramatic

Really well written though the story is now a bit darker, great adventure but for younger listeners recomend listening first.

Fab story

I was a bit unsure at first being use to a male reader but it made sense when I realised this story is told from Grimalkin's point of view. Absolutely love this series

good listen

the change of narrator for this title was a really good choice and other than pronunciation inconsistency from previous titles a really good lesson.

Amazing delivery

I listened slowly to savour every minute, sometimes repeating chapters, perfectly narrated pure pleasure.
