Shouty narration with tingly mild peril
I have to say as the car driver, Daniel Hill' style of PUNCTUATING his narration by SHOUTING the ARGHHS!! and the LOOK OUT!! at top volume is a bit distracting. There is something very, very loud about the way he reads. We've also got a few of the S.W.I.T.C.H. series that he narrates that have the same affect on me.
Needless to say, my boys (aged 5 & 7) don't find him a problem. They love the idea for a school for spooks and the over-cocky ghostly members. Why be scared of anything if you're already dead? The monsters are genuinely nasty enough and this would be a good Halloween treat, but not scary enough to keep anyone awake at night.
There are some nice messages about looking after your friends, and helping people in there too, just to keep the parents happy.
