About this listen
Detective Jonathan Stride is back.
A third woman dead in two months, and for the third time, Alison Malville isn't sure her husband was home all night.
When the killer sends the usual photo of his victim to the press, she sees an item of her clothing left with this body, too.
Could you believe your own husband was capable of murder? Would you turn him in?
This gripping thriller from the acclaimed author of Spilled Blood will keep you riveted.

A novel tale.
Well put together. A suprising ending. I have not heard of this before only rats and squirrels.

Brevity is a charm..
Not sure if I have any true feelings about this story, only marginally pleased it gave a backstory hint of how Stride & Maggie had a brief encounter..

Common story
A boogeyman that finally exists... A very usual story and the short length of it doesn’t let much space for something groundbreaking. The narrator's voice is a bit too spooky for the circumstances.
