About this listen
The Syrians have started to annihilate the Kurdish population of Al Rai. The town is under siege from a squadron of T-55 tanks, and the people are dying. They have no means of defending themselves, except for three obsolete Second World War tanks they purchased from a defunct museum. Yet the tanks and their transporters have been seized by the Iraqi cops.
A chance encounter with a young history professor results in a unique proposition for Lieutenant Jack Grant. She happens to be a battalion commander for the Kurdish freedom fighters, and she needs his help. Grant has never been a man to duck a challenge, and he and his men agree to take these ancient armored vehicles to Al Rai, only to become embroiled in a bloody battle against the Iraqis, the Syrians, and the United States military police. They are forced to fight with the only weapons they have: Obsolete armor. Grant’s Armor.
Special Operations: Grant’s Armor is a must-listen epic which tells the story of tough, violent men fighting against a vicious and determined enemy in the Middle East, a harsh, hostile environment and an enemy who is no less harsh or hostile. A full-length novel by the best-selling author of many Spec Ops books. These include the popular SEAL Team Bravo stories, Heroes of Afghanistan, Raider, Echo Six, and Devil's Guard titles.

Another Cracker!
This is yet another great listen from Eric Meyer. This time Grant and his team end up agreeing to transport some vintage tanks to where they are needed to help fight the Syrian's . Although vastly outnumbered by enemy forces they fight their way through. Action packed and thrilling. Highly recommended. Henry Marshall is a great narrator for this series and I cannot imagine anyone else providing the voices for Grant and Co.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
