Summary

Troubles and delays continue to mount as King Garion, Belgarath, Polgara, and the company pursue Zandramas across the known world. Possessed by the Dark Destiny, Zandramas has kidnapped Garion's infant son and plans to use him in a ritual that would destroy all that men value. Always one step ahead, taunting and spying on Garion and his party in the form of a great flying dragon, Zandramas races to beat them to the "Place Which Is No More".

Desperate to arrive at the ancient ritual site at the same time, or face disaster, Garion and his friends must defend themselves against Zandramas' armies, led by the Demon Lord on one side of them, and the forces of Emperor Zakath on the other side. To make matters worse, they have no idea where to find the "Place Which Is No More".

Great story. Good narration

Continuing to thoroughly enjoy revisiting these stories from my youth. Great fantasy series with enjoyable narration. don't really understand the bad reviews people are giving the books narrator at all tbh.

Love the story

Love the story.
Cameron Beierle reading is fine apart from his mispronunciation of quays , which sets my teeth on edge , and he occasionally seems to be confused with the different voices . Other than that bring on the next instalment.

Cameron Beierle Does Eddings Justice

If you could sum up Sorceress of Darshiva in three words, what would they be?

Pretty damn awesome

Which character – as performed by Cameron Beierle – was your favourite?

He always voices Silk or Belgarath so very, very well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, split into two halves.

good overall

good story, keeps you hooked. The narrator was okay once you get used to the style. My only gripe is the female characters are irritating. They are either out and out patronising, or downright Barbie. The less clichéd females start out great until they succumb to the well behaved, obedient, cook the food, do as they're told, avoid the fights, take lots of baths etc. in fact, I hated the obey your elders, don't answer back, don't ask questions, be polite mode that flowed through the books. apart from that, admittedly minor, gripe, the books were well plotted and enjoyable, and I kept going which says it all really. I'd recommend the series.

Excellent story

Love the books by Eddings. The narrator makes too many errors with his pronunciation.

Fantastic well read story

I really enjoyed this. David Eddings is one of my favourite authors and was unsure what to expect from the audible version versus the written book.

The narrator did an excellent job bringing the characters to life, no easy task with so many of them. At times he drops in to the wrong accent but then corrects later on but I still really enjoyed listening.

Sheer brilliance

Endings does it once again. The story is building to what I expect to be an exciting crescendo.
