Summary
What if peace of mind, beautiful feelings, little or no stress, wonderful, healthy relationships, and greater effectiveness were right at your fingertips and you held the key but didn't realize it or didn't know how to use it? That is what somebody should have told us!
This audiobook is about how we all have a state of perfect mental health and wisdom inside us that can only be covered up by our own thinking and how our use of our power of thought creates the "reality" we see, out of which we then think, feel, and act. Here are 10 simple but profound truths for living well, arising from three spiritual facts that once grasped or truly realized can transform one's life. This audiobook has the ability to spawn insights that change the lives of those who come to understand the simple yet profound wisdom contained in this audiobook. In fact, it already has.
This audiobook is the essence of self-help in that it points people inside themselves for all answers. It shows people how to access their own essence whenever they need to. It shows people how they create their experience of life moment to moment. The audiobook is authored in an easy-to-understand manner with many stories of how people's lives have changed. When we were growing up, nobody told us what this audiobook points to, but somebody should have told us! And it's never too late.
About the author: Jack Pransky, PhD, is founder/director of the Center for Inside-Out Understanding. Beautiful and so clear.
This is an exceptional book. I’ve read and listened to dozens of books on the topic but none have summed up the Three Principles in such a deep yet clear and succinct way.
The narrative is engaging and it lends itself to the right kind of ‘listening’ to really encourage deep understanding.
I can’t understand why it took me so long to read and listen to this (I highly recommend both but the audiobook is better to my mind because of the narration). It may well have been the cover, that’s thought for you...
Wonderful book and so important.

One of those books you'll remember
I will keep coming back to this book over and over and over again. it has been so helpful and enjoyable. I've been trying to understand the three Principles for a little while now, and this book has given me a big insight into what thought, consciousness and mind are in relation to each other. I experienced moments of peace and calm while listening, which stayed with me for hours afterwards. I found myself reacting less to situations and noticing more that my thinking was creating my reality. Well worth the listen, just stay open to the stories and explanations and let them move through you.

At last somebody has told us!
One of the very best explanations of Sydney Banks' 3 Principles. Simple, straightforward, thorough and most importantly easy to follow.
The narration is great and despite the unintentional ocean waves in the background which the author acknowledges up front as a recording mistake, it still makes for a pleasant and relaxing listen. The listener/reader should expect to arrive at the end of this book with a much deeper understanding of how they experience life. The lasting benefits of that being a clear and untroubled mind. I first read this over 10 years ago and without a second of effort, intention or contemplation of any kind I dropped a chronic lifelong habit of biting my fingernails, often till they bled. Greater peace of mind is the inevitable byproduct of your time with this book which I wholeheartedly recommend to my fellow listeners and readers.

Insights through articulating and discussing case studies
The case study method doesnt suit all readers. i believe that for readers already with foundational knowledge of sydney banks’ three principles, the method provides insight that other methods eg narrative and hypothesis, do not!
I have foundational knowledge of the three principles, and a personal rather than professional interest in the wirks of sydney banks (deceased).
Pransky has a way of writing (narrating) that is simple and clear. As a scientist, his approach is to methodologically approach problems, analyse to identify points of note and or inflection, give insights from the academic literature, and conclude. For instance, i found from this book that the case study method he uses in this book reveals and reinforces many points that may otherwise be more obscure were other methods used.
In conclusion, i felt my knowledge of the three principles advanced and deepened. Specifically, i listened to the audible version of the book, and appreciated the authenticity brought by pransky’s own narration. I recommend the narration
