This was new for me!

I had never heard of this type of therapy. It was very interesting because of how it deals with the trauma of the body instead of just the mind. It was extremely informative and well written. the narration keep me attentive and I actually took notes. I am happy to add this one to my library. As a longtime member of the therapy community I will defintiely ask my therapist about this strategy and how we can incorporate it with my healing journey.

Amazing book

This is a great introduction to Somatic Therapy. The author presents the topic in a clear and accessible way and does a wonderful job defining the terms.
She describes a variety of somatic techniques and gives a lot of practical advice how they could be implemented in our busy lives.

The author also incudes a long list of references which is a great resource for further research.
I would recommend the book to anyone who is interested in self healing or is studying somatic therapy/somatic coaching.
