boring

should have ended at 7,.

it's not bad just boring and unnecessary, it was also a bit rushed for what it was trying to do.

very rushed

honestly was looking forward to this book but this ending is a huge let down it just feels so rushed and could've been added onto book 7 and it wouldn't have been as disappointing

Amazing series

My all time favourite series, this was mainly all short stories, definitely entertaining, I definitely would go back and read it all from the beginning again. I’m said that it’s ended.

Should have stopped at 7

Ok so this book only have a rushed ending of the series and then goes on as in-universe-short-stories from different perspectives. Happy to have more content, but this was a bit of let down. Edit: it does move the story forward though, in a kind of epilogue.

Amazing

Watched up to episode 11 of the anime but couldn't bear to wait another week, so I binged the entire series, and I don't regret it.

Rushed Ending and a "New Story+"

This book feels like a rushed Ending to a series plus a mash up of prototype stories from other povs. Perhaps recycled materials that didn't make it in previous books and repurposed? This is how it kind of felt. A huge contrast to epic books before this release.

As a long fan of a series, I feel cheated out of a proper epic ending that it should have been. There was a lot of opportunity to make the final battle on earth amazing and filled with great storytelling, surprises and twists, yet nothing like that happened.

What we got instead was quick events without prior exposition or establishing backgrounds. Nothing that builds anticipation but a barrage of quick events and happy accidents during battle.

I am sorry, but I can't recommend this release. I advise everyone to get a pdf of previous versions, feed it to ChatGPT, and ask a robot to come up with a 8th book. It will be much better.

From mid way though, this book feels like an anime reset.

I will hope the 9th book, if it happens, is better and true to books 1-4. Thanks!

Really??

I enjoyed this series alot, and was looking forward to see how this epic story would end and battles etc, but for real, this book might aswel have been added to 7 and could have been released as a "extra content" thing, cause after 90mins I honestly feel scammed buying this....

Not really a full novel at all

This was quite disappointing to tell you the truth has been building up so long and so well up to this book then they finished it in like 5 chapters rushed, and just added some side story's at the end so they could sell it as a full novel to milk one last pay day from the series
