Missing Person

With a family missing, and after four years off the police force, Chase Grant finds himself back in the midst of a criminal investigation. But as he teams up with the FBI and the US Marshals working this high-profile case, Grant will be forced to confront a past that he thought he was prepared to deal with, but if he can’t overcome his memories, then it could mean the end of a missing family.

Deadly Webs

When a child goes missing, the amount of resources that authorities use is substantial. Abduction cases are taken very seriously by all of the parties involved. None more so than by Chase Grant, a detective in Seattle’s 18th precinct. The clock starts the moment he gets the call from a parent, and the first 12 hours are crucial. Every move counts, and every choice matters. If he missteps, then a child might not come home. But today was different. He got a call about a missing child. And then another, and another, and another....

Confused but good story

I did enjoy the storyline and will read more from this author. However, it was very confusing having the books that describe why Grant was discharged from the police followed by the booked leading up to his discharge. This surely could have been easy to correct or a note could have been entered explaining which chapters to read first🤷‍♀️

Wrong order and second narrator whiney

I was just getting into the series only to suddenly be taken back in time to before Grant was booted out of the police force - a bit disorientating but this could have been dealt with if the narrator had been better - her voice irritated me beyond belief. Still, if the first book had been first instead of second I would never have listened to the rest.
If you buy this go to track 40 first then back to the first track after you have finished - it will make more sense!
